The Reason for the Season
"Last week, the city of Boston sparked controversy when it renamed the giant spruce tree in Boston Common a holiday tree instead of a Christmas tree. Also, the city's nativity scene will now be referred to as the Holiday Homeless Family." --Tina Fey
Christmas.
It is the time where Christians celebrate the birth of our Savior.
If you are not a Christian, why would you celebrate Christmas, ever?
To receive a bunch of gifts? You can do that anytime.
Why not pick a date in say, oh, the end of January when it is really bleak out? Or June might be another good month~~nothing much besides weddings happen in June.
So, non-Christians, pick another month for your holiday of massive present exchanging.
Because Christmas is OURS. We are NOT going to give it up to "Happy Holidays".

Americans love the concept of Santa Clause. A jolly old man who delivers presents to all good boys and girls. The magic of flying reindeer and a sleigh; the North Pole toy shoppe!
Yet, we all know it is just a wonderful, fantastic fantasy. There is nothing wrong with this. God gave us the creative talents to Imagine!
But if you don't know Jesus, then you are missing the most wonderful, magical, relationship in all the world that IS REAL!
Why yearn for that which can never be real? Why not instead seek out the special loving relationship of a Savior who died especially for YOU!
Really, what have you got to lose~~other than your soul that is!
